The food is really good, but the prices are getting too high for burritos. Bought 2 burritos, and it cost close to $30.00.
Hey little Pepe.... Yes Pepe's Mexican cuisine. Out and about today on a Sunday afternoon with the little guy, he wanted some chicken and rice as he so eloquently put it and so we were off to find some chicken and rice, and me some tacos because I really wanted a taco. After driving past our destination Dave N Busta I came upon Pepe's. Little spot, looked promising. Very basic Mexican cuisine, but it didn't disappoint. I ordered 2 hard shell chicken tacos, and some... you guessed it chicken and rice sides. There is a tiny salsa bar to grab some salsa and onions and radish. I have to say the tacos are pretty good, there like small but not, hard to explain. The come packed with chicken and cheese and they were quite good. My son enjoyed his chicken and rice and after having some chips and salsa were off to enjoy some games and laughs at Dave N Busters. So if you're in this area, because I truly couldn't find any other Mexican food places nearby, it's right across the street from The Hawaiian Gardens Casino. I'll definitely keep them in mind when in this area. Thanks Pepe.
I've been here a few times and their food hits the spot. I have been satisfied with the burritos every time. Also like their sauce bar cause I can self serve what I want and don't have to beg for 1 more hot sauce like other places. Service has been friendly and have been spot on with my order. Will definitely come back
I always forget so let's start off with the red hot sauce is the original hot sauce. Orange is the hot habanero hot sauce both equally delicious. If carne asada fries is your jam, this is the place for you. Or the pollo asado fries are equally as delicious! Best part is you can order a small and still get full! I'm a plain Jane type of dude when it comes to my fries and just like them with sour cream and cheese! Enjoy!
This place has great tacos. I had the Carne Asada and was very pleased with it. The service is not super fast but the food is made to order so everything is delicious and fresh. The salsa bar had a lot of options and the hot salsa was super tasty. It's cool they still have bang as a drink option as I haven't had that for years until I came here the dining room is very clean and the drive-through was super busy. I'll be back...
